The base for all of your road data, RouteMaster is the best tool for handling your road's mile point information. Create each road or street and input the mile points for each intersection, bridge, agency boundary, railroad, etc. These points are known as Control Points and establish the base for other Traffic Safety Suite modules to overlay data onto.
All data is logged in out to the thousandth of a mile (kilometer in metric). Fast-Add carryover buttons on selected fields allow for information to be quickly copied from record to record when adding data. Pre-defined dictionaries of the more common fields save valuable entry time. You can also add items of your own.
- Classes
- Each route can be classified by 3 user-nameable class fields opening up many different filtering options. Set up County and Township roads under Class 1, roads by each Township under Class 2, and subdivision streets under Class 3. The choice is yours. Each class can be used alone or in conjunction with the other classes.

- Store GPS, XYZ Coordinate Info
- RouteMaster can store Global Positioning System (GPS) and XYZ coordinate information you have gathered for each control point in your agency. This information is stored with the control point's other location information and can be imported into your GIS system for mapping purposes.
- Route Ordering
- The route list on screen and on the printable report can be ordered by route name or number. You can also set your own customized order with the ease of drag and drop. Route / Name fine tuning is also available to push a route into the correct order when dealing with routes sections that have the same name and number.
With the purchase of PriorityMaster™ - Road Priority Maintenance Module, you will also be able to set the order by route priority.
- Reports
- Filtering and ordering options on the report screens let you tailor the report to only the information you need.
The Route Listing report is a line item report displaying route number and name, beginning and ending log point with the control point description of the begin and end. Total length of each route is also shown with a grand total on the last page of the report.
The Control Point Listing prints your control points in order for each road. You can also print out just one road or a range of roads.

- RouteMaster is included free with the purchase of SignMaster or RailMaster or can be used alone as a great tool for tracking your roads. RouteMaster can be purchased separately for $400.00 US.
